Your donation goes where the need is greatest.

Not choosing a particular dumpster? We use documented conditions and stormwater exposure to help prioritize eligible areas with serious problems.

Our goal is to direct general community support toward sites where uncovered trash, damaged enclosures, leaks or runoff pathways could create meaningful environmental concerns—especially when drainage connects to storm drains, creeks or sensitive watersheds. Proximity alone does not establish risk: conditions and drainage pathways must be assessed.

1. Document the conditionReview site observations, enclosure damage, cover condition, photos and other field evidence.
2. Consider the water pathwayEvaluate drainage connections, storm-drain exposure, runoff potential and nearby receiving waters.
3. Confirm eligibility and readinessWork with owners and municipalities as appropriate, secure necessary permissions and determine a practical solution.
4. Fund, improve and documentSupport approved education, outreach, inspections, covers, gates, repairs and follow-up documentation as resources permit.

Our accountability promise: General donations can also support inspections, program operations, community education, project assessment and upkeep. Funding an individual site requires a separately confirmed project commitment. Site risk categories and public priority overlays are being developed; we will not label a location “critical” or publish a private address without adequate verification and appropriate permission.
